MoJo’s Gavin Aronsen writes about being arrested by the Oakland PD on Saturday night while covering an Occupy protest—despite making clear to officers that he was a credentialed reporter. Unfortunately for the Oakland PD, reporters who are arrested for reporting things have an unusually high recidivism rate.

“And that for a long time our minds have told us that maybe we’re crazy, that maybe we’re imagining things, that’s its crazy to live according to what you want to give. But I think now, as more and more people wake up to the truth, that we’re here to give, and wake up to that desire, and wake up to the fact that other way isn’t working anyway - the more reinforcement we have from people around us that this isn’t crazy. This is makes sense. This is how to live.
And as we get that reinforcement, then our minds and our logic no longer have to fight against the logic of the heart which wants us to be of service. This shift of consciousness that inspires such things is universal, 99% and the 1% and it’s awakening in different people in different ways.
I think love is the felt experience of connection to another being. An economist says ‘more for you is less for me.’ But the lover knows that more of you is more for me too. If you love somebody their happiness is your happiness. Their pain is your pain. Your sense of self expands to include other beings.
That’s love, love is the expansion of the self to include the other. And that’s a different kind of revolution. There’s no one to fight. There’s no evil to fight. There’s no other in this revolution.
Everybody has a unique calling and it’s really time to listen to that. That’s what the future is going to be. It’s time to get ready for it, and contribute to it, and help make it happen.”- CHARLES EISENSTEIN is a teacher, speaker, and writer focusing on themes of civilization, consciousness, money, and human cultural evolution.

My metaperspective.
This is hitting the nail on the head. The trailer seems spot on to the potential of 2012 and how it is NOT going to be the end of days, but the BEGINNING of new thought processes, patterns, in synchronization of all humans across our world; universal consciousness. And it centers around one emotion - Love.
We do not know the depths of love. As cliche as this sounds, when someone states that “We really don’t know what love is”, I feel this is true. We may have an idea, but we really do not fully understand how powerful that emotion is.
Our media and perhaps television shows distort the meaning of love. This causes confusion (probably purposefully and for a reason) but it seems as though we are starting to see through those messages. We, as human race, are starting to develop our own understanding of love and what it actually is and means to us as humans; on a “deeper-intuitive-intellectual-connectedness.”
“Love is healing. Love is understanding. Love is sacrifice. Love is empathy. Love is compassion. Love is universal. Love is just as rewarding to give than to receive. Love is equal. Love is tolerance. Love is human. If we become love and live with it, it can fight our battles for us, without worry of oppression and negativity in it’s path.” - Meta
When something ends, that means something else beings.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Universally, we are waking up and we can see it everyday, even through social media outlets. If we pay close enough attention, we can see and perhaps feel the individuals who think the same way you do, see the same way you see, and feel the same way you feel.
Very exciting times we are living. I hope you enjoy and continue to live your lives with love. It is the only way to live.
“Occupy Wall Street” will live on.

who is this guy? this guy is Tim Sommers and he is America’s first political prisoner from the occupy movement.. today, after showing up to his court date, he will be held until MARCH 13TH for his next court date.. we don’t have the NLG here in tampa and are suffering for it… the pic will take you to an article.. and after you learn more, feel free to contact the following people to let them know this is WRONG!
What? How in the name of Hell is this possible?
Right to a speedy trial?
Anyone? Anyone?
This is disgusting. Maybe if enough of us shine a light on this blatantly unconstitutional behavior by the State, they’ll be forced to, you know, respect the laws they’re supposedly sworn to uphold.

Note Of Note of the Day: From the Associated Press’ Washington-based Assistant Chief of Bureau for photos, J. David Ake:
A protester handed President Barack Obama a note while shaking hands along a rope line in New Hampshire today. Photographer Charlie Dharapak smartly zoomed in so you can read the note for yourself.
Transcript follows for those who can’t:
Mr. President: Over 4000 peaceful protesters / have been arrested / While banksters continue / to destroy the American economy (with impunity) / You must stop the assault / on our 1st ammendment rights [sic]. / Your silence sends a message / that police brutality is ac(ceptable) / Banks got bailed out. / We got sold out.
